Account Setup Guides

Follow the Step-by-Step guide below to setup your DLink Router.

To access the router you will have to open your web browser.
Once web browser is open, type http://192.168.1.1 as the URL ( router IP ) as shown in figure Dlink 1 and press enter.
A window will pop up asking for a username and password.
Enter the following :

Username : admin
Password : admin
This will log you onto the first page of the setup.
As shown in figure Dlink setup 1.
The box "DSL Auto Connect needs to have the tick in the tick box removed.
This will alter the look of the window as shown in figure Dlink setup 2.
VpI must be altered to 8 and VCI to 35, once done click next.
The window will change and should look like figure Dlink setup 3.
Select PPP over ethernet, and encapsulation mode as LLC.
Click next.
Window will change to Dlink Setup 4
Once next is selected, insert you username and password as shown in Dlink setup5, that was supplied to you by Maxitec. Click next
Once next is selected the window will change, select next again to Dlink setup 6.
Once next is selected the window will change, select next again to Dlink setup 7.
In this window click save and reboot, once done select logout.
