Email Setup in Outlook 2000
Following are the steps to set up your Maxitec email account in Outlook 2000 for Windows.
- Open Outlook 2000
- Go to Tools followed by accounts.
- Click on the mail tab, click on the add button and choose
mail.
- Enter your name and surname, know as the Display name, this
is the first thing a person wil see when they recieve and e-mail
from you.
- Enter your e-mail adresse supplied by Maxitec
- Enter your incoming and outgoing mail server adresses,
consult your settings sheet and the picture for information.
- Enter you username and password as given to you on your
settings form.
- Choose the type of connection that you selected, connect
using phone line is for dial-up and ISDN, and connect using
local area network is for ADSL or Broadband.
- Click finish and your done
